Live portrait agreement

This agreement serves as a legally binding contract between you and Jade Johnson Illustration LLC.

Portrait Services

Our portraits are 5 x 7" stylized versions of your guests, hand-drawn and packaged in clear sleeves during your event. An estimated 12 portraits can be drawn per hour and samples of our drawing style can be viewed on our service page.This service is offered to the Greater New Orleans area and virtually worldwide. For safety reasons, we are unable to accept bookings at residential locations unless stated otherwise.

Portrait Changes

Guests may get as many portraits as they like! We do however ask them to be considerate of other guests. To draw your guests in a timely manner, we are unable to take detailed requests or art direction during the event.Extra portraits can be drawn after the event for an additional $35 per person and are available for local drop off in the Greater New Orleans area. To have your portrait shipped to another parish, state, or country, please contact us for rates.

Lost or Damaged Portraits

We want your guests to have a great time! While we are not responsible for lost or damaged portraits, guests are welcome to have their portrait redrawn during the event. When possible, we are also happy to add more time to your booking for an additional $174 per hour. This fee will be invoiced and must be paid before services continue.

Usage Terms

Jade Johnson at Jade Johnson Illustration LLC owns the copyright and usage of all portraits. Portraits are for personal use, such as sharing on social media, and cannot be edited, reprinted, resold, or used for AI or NFTs. Disputes will be handled through the Louisiana court system.

Sharing and Credit

Please credit and tag us as "Jade Johnson Illustration @jadejohnsonillo" or "Jade Johnson Illustration jadejohnsonillo.com" when sharing your portraits online. We would love to see them! Photos may be shared on our website or social media for marketing purposes.

Payment Methods

Deposits and payments will be paid to Jade Johnson through our website and must be paid in full before we begin your service. We are unable to accept checks or cash and late payments will be charged an additional 10% fee.

Cancellations and Refunds

Need to cancel? No worries! Bookings can be canceled within 72 hours of your purchase for a full refund. After this period, you can cancel our services for a 50% refund. Your refund may take 5-10 days to process and does not include platform or processing fees.In the event that your venue closes, or there is inclement weather or a natural disaster, our services will be rescheduled for a later date. If we must cancel the service for reasons unrelated to you or the event, we will provide a full refund.

Drawing Stations

A drawing station with a table and two chairs must be provided for the service. Stations cannot share tables with other vendors and must be placed away from:• DJ booths and speakers
• Dance floors
• Kitchens and buffets
• Restrooms
• Direct sunlightWe will provide all drawing supplies and equipment and may have 1-2 assistants to help manage them during the service. During the event, a 10 minute break is included for 2 hour services; 20 minutes for 4 hour services.

Event Changes

If your event changes, such as the location or time, we must be notified immediately through our booking page. We are not responsible for delayed services due to last minute changes.

Waivers

We care about the safety of your guests and our assistants. We are not responsible for the behavior of your guests, the event or venue staff, or damages caused by them. If there are safety concerns, we will remove ourselves immediately and incomplete services will not be refunded.

Damages and Expenses

An additional fee will be charged for damages to us or our drawing supplies and equipment during your event. These expenses will be invoiced and must be paid immediately.

Agreement Changes

Any changes to our agreement must be confirmed by email.
