Ceramic shop update
You might have noticed that in January, I got a membership at a local pottery studio! I made a few ring holders and a bowl to test their glazes and have put them up in my shop.
Although it’s hard for me to part with them, I always feel so sentimental about everything I make, I’ll be making many more functional items in the upcoming months — some I’ll keep for myself but most of them I want to share with you. To see what’s coming out of the kiln next, check my last newsletter!
While one goose cracked in the kiln, the other two ring holders are perfect and ready to go. I’ll be keeping the goose in the grass for myself 😈 and send these other two swimming. I also added a small jewelry bowl with one of my favorite glaze colors. I believe it’s called Blush and it’s the dusty pink and burnt lavender of my dreams.
I’ll have some collage work in my next shop update but don’t worry, I’ll only be sharing shop updates 1-2 times a month. No spam from me, just cute glass figurines that remind me of my grandma’s house in the 90’s.
If you can let me know what you’d like to see in future updates though, that would be great!
Until next time,
Jade
